IMAGINE HOW STRONG OUR COUNTRY WOULD BE IF CONGRESS SPENT THEIR DAYS WORKING FOR THE PEOPLE WHO ELECTED THEM INSTEAD OF THE PEOPLE WHO BUY THEM.

America 🇺🇸 got the best Christmas 🎄 present 🎁 ever from Joe Manchin. It's future is a little less cloudy by his NO to the bowling for bull squat bill. Actually there's not one, not two but 52 who are standing together for the country.

Never be "politically correct" this is simply used to browbeat you into conformity and then you lose your soul and your sanctity as an individual, possibly FOREVER.

Any one over 40 without high 6 figures saved can NOT afford any more inflation! I would like to retire before I

"Today, I am rejecting this flawed and rushed bill, because I cannot in good conscience vote for legislation that hurts West Virginia families, seniors, students, teachers and business owners.” - Joe Manchin, 2017

Great to hear that Joe Manchin stands up to what he believes in ! That is so rare in modern times!

2, 000 pages few have read and being changed regularly. Media here only share what is popular, not what is damaging to your lifestyle, dreams, your pocketbook, your future, your children and your knowledge of facts and real state of current affairs. Readers, have you read what the media won’t tell you?

Thank god the Build back better bill is not going forward. Our cost of living is skyrocketing and the last thing we need is more government spending.

🔴 I don't need building back whatever bill. It's not important for everyone

Laughed at seeing The Squad dancing when the bill passed the House before Thanksgiving. That's like football fans who celebrate victory only to lose by a last-second Hail Mary pass. 🤣

I’m glad Manchin is standing up. I vote Democratic most times but I don’t want this bill right now. Issues included in the bill are definitely needed, but I’m tired of paying for something that I can’t enjoy right now.

We already owe 29 Trillion.
One trillion = stacks of one thousand dollar bills 67.9 miles high.
Printing money devalues the money we have.
The bill is has hidden costs that end up being over 4 trillion dollars. We need people in government that know what their doing.

No bill should be 2, 000 pages. If the items in the bill are actually positive, and wouldn't raise taxes, they should pass each item on their own merits.

it would be cool if the news organizations actually interviewed manchins constituents to get their take

If West Virginia views itself as “mountaineers are always free” state, I don’t think they would mind losing their social net which accounts for over 32%.
