A deep-sea discovery holds relics that are thousands of years old. Italy’s Carabinieri says a shipwreck, dating back to first or second century B.C., was found in the ocean about 80 miles from Rome. They say it was carrying hundreds of Roman jars and many of them were still intact.

They should retrieve as many as possible, spruce em up a bit, and place them neatly in a museum

I'd love to see the designs carved or painted on the outside of the jars

They should DEFINITELY bring up the artifacts! What’s the use in just letting them stay down there???
Plus it’d be VERY historical and educational.

In Alexanderia we have an entire city right after Cleopatea era, under the sea, streets, buildings. Temples, statues, graves, markets, a whole city, open for divers to watch and enjoy or pay for a glass bottom boat. It is amazing, intact in an amazing way, approx. 2000 years old

That's pretty cool. I wonder if they would just break trying to get them.

Nah, they're trying to determine how many of them to catch to sell to mega rich oligarchs without raising suspicions 😂😂😅

Hmmm, maybe take like 4 or 5 of the jars and leave the rest just so it's somewhat untouched

They should get most of them for a museum and it might have centuries old wine 🍷

I say open one of them, and rebottle that wine for $5000 per 8 oz. Use it to pay for exploration expenses.

They’re clay pots that have been underwater for a thousand years, as soon as you touch them they’re going to disintegrate.
