Berdly is the PAPYRUS of DELTARUNE? Hear me out...

Deltarune Chapter 2 came out last week and, as expected, Toby Fox and his team did a great job! While I haven’t played it myself, I did watch Failboat’s live streams of it, and gotta say, Berdly has way too many similarities to Papyrus. It might be a coincidence, but like...that doesn’t mean it isn’t there.

When I was slightly younger I would voice papyrus with family and friends but recently I could only do lower voices like sans
So as my friends were playing deltarune 2 and me voicing barely, I was told that I sound like papyrus

Excuse me but papyrus has the ego of the size of the sun ( making him shine when ever you see him and also giving people time to shine )while birdely has the size of a black hole(always fueled by other's hard work and he eats it up) .

Berdly leaves without a signature laugh because he doesn’t have one. Maybe his sprite has his meme face or something.

Berdly is Papyrus without a good goal.
Papyrus wanted to become the royal guard to be loved.
Berdly has no real goal to become loved.

I actually agree on this idea. Berdly is just a worse Papyrus personality wise. However I consider Papyrus not exactly having an ego, but more being ignorant to the lesson.

Berdly can NEVER replace Papyrus for me though, he is and stays my favorite Toby Fox originated character.
