In splatoon 1 the amiibos not only gave you exclusive gear, they also let you play levels from the campaing with special conditions (play It with roller, infinite kraken...)

I really like the amiibos in the splatoon series. I like that you can befriend them, and then you get REALLY COOL outfits from them! And you get to see their personalities and cool stuff like that! I think one of my favorites for splatoon might be the inking girl cuz shes just so nice and sweet! Only downside is that only splatoon amiibos work with splatoon

Breath of the Wild has the best amiibo funtionality, hands down

It’s really sad that Yoshi’s Crafted World doesn’t have it like Wooly World where the wool changes color, it’s just a cardboard box. Also similar thing with Mario Maker 2 where the costumes aren’t a thing anymore.

splatoon series has great amiibo support as well, I think the best is in splatoon 1 because you get to do hero mode missions with different weapons to unlock them and the kraken version is super fun. plus the squid sisters amiibos allow you to see the dances which I miss
in 2 and 3 you still get clothes from them and the photo mode

My favorite Amiibo game is Amiibo Tap.
Turns any of your Amiibo into a classic game.

The cool thing about amiibo in smash is that they learn the way you play and find ways around your usual play style when fighting them and essentially trains you against yourself

Kirby Planet Robobot had some amazing Amiibo support too.
A Smash Bros Kirby amiibo gave Kirby the Smash ability, a Kirby Kirby amiibo gave the UFO, Meta Knight from Kirby gave a custom Meta Knight Sword, and King Dedede from Kirby gave a Dedede Hammer ability.
There was also a custom Bandanna Dee spear ability, and a lot of other amiibo gave other abilities or just food items.

Mario and rabbids gives you new weapons that become unusable after a while, but while they are still usable, their strong, and look dope

In Animal Crossing New Leaf (Welcome amiibo!) you can scan some select amiibos to let a new villager like Ganon or Wolf Link move to your town and give you exclusive furniture :)

It’s also fun when you get a ton of amiibos for smash bros, to make an entire tournament with them and see which one is the best
