This is a different recipe for cornbread, moist and soft, yet spicy with Andouille sausage inside. So delicious, try the recipe if you like a little zip with your corn. It uses three types of corn, it's great!

Quite a few of the Mexican restaurants in California serve a "spoon corn bread" theirs is typically sweet and served as a little side dish on your plate, I love it like dessert, but we eat it with a spoon or a fork. Love it ... and will try your recipe probably without the sausage, but I think it would still be delicious. Thanks for sharing,

Looks super yummy. You were surprised how moist the texture was, in Texas that's referred to as "Corn Pudding".The cheese is generally mixed into the batter, along w/rest of ingredients...& sometimes the whole kernel corn is a mexicorn style (that already has tiny diced mild green & red peppers in the can) I've never made it w/sausage before, can't wait to try. That looks good. I made cornbread in my instant pot yesterday, from scratch, but it turned out kinda dry. I didn’t have a recipe I was just guessing at measurements and ingredients.
