The course "Skills for Success in Finance & Economics" is designed for university students learning English as part of their finance or economics degree.

CEFR Level: B1+, B2

Format: online, but possible to use in a classroom, provided a projector is available

Number of Academic Hours: over 200, of which 80 hrs are lessons = 40 x 1.5 hour long lessons, 60 hrs for individual assignments, 50 hrs for project work, and 10 hrs for test.

Number of Participants: Designed for group work, suitable for groups of 12-15 students

Relevance and Novelty: The program's subject-language integrated approach to studying economics and English aims to achieve a comfortable proficiency level beyond B2 for professional communication in the chosen economic-financial profile. Emphasis is placed on developing communicative skills and soft skills through pair, group, and project work. Students will also explore a wide range of ICT tools, including Artificial Intelligence applications, to prepare for effective participation in the digital economy.

This course aims to equip students with skills that will significantly differentiate them from their peers, especially if they continue to work on their English using the tools provided in this course.
