You all mean the world to me and I couldn't thank you enough for everything you do~ Thank you for being fans of my work and for being my boundless inspiration :) ONTO THIS SONG~ Tokyo Ghoul is probably one of my favorite shows for its musical atmosphere/emotion. I actually never intended to sing this song because I am a huge fan of the original and Donna's version is heavenly, but after teaming up with Mike and after hearing the emotion he could weave into the instrumental, I was swayed! I hope you enjoy the little 'Unravel' easter egg~! This one means a lot to me

Okay,   I know people were blown away when the song completely switched tone at 3:30 and onward. I had to repeat that very moment at least 50 times to capture and recapture the moment. Like your very universe expanded by the pure unexpected twist. Like really? " Inside I've been shaken, my sanity taken. Our broken halves, they intertwine", which alone holds too much meaning with simply 2 lines,  along with the utterly complete change of instruments and atmosphere. Pure beauty.

I know this video is old Ama and you probably won't read this, but in case you do I want to say this:
I truly consider your take on Glassy Sky to be the best I've ever, ever seen and I consider this very song to be a true masterpiece, from the way it slowly ramps up to that epitome at the end when you can feel everything just bursting, you can truly hear how strongly this song is supposed to represent the emotions contained within. You are truly wonderful and I will forever cherish this cover.

Listening to this song... I realize that this is Kaneki's letter to Hide when Hide died.... He's saying that he wishes things could've just stayed the same. That he misses him.... That even though Hide isnt there, he will be strong in the cruel
