Great video Michael! Thank you once again. I think it’s time for a Brandi Carlile and the twins video. They’re so fantastic. I’ll find something and post it on your website.

Jason Isbell hiding in the back like he's in the Grammy Witness Protection Program.

Of the many things awesome things about Brandi Carlile is how she *constantly* features the Hanseroth twins and emphasizes to her audience how important they are to her. She's (literally) a rock star and doesn't have to do that, but she invariably paints herself as the most recognized member of a trio. It's damn classy, it is.

I love seeing a musician of your caliber geek out for a moment on Amanda Shires's fiddle solo. She is such an *incredible* fiddler. For them as might not know, she started her professional career in music as a fiddler with the Texas Playboys at the age of *fifteen*. She has *that* kind of chops. Did you catch the little "blink and you'll miss it" half-phrase quote from "We Didn't Start the Fire" that she just casually tosses into her solo here? Pure magic.

Worlds collide! This is one of my all-time favorite videos. Love that Isbell is just low key in the background...

Man, it is really such a gift to watch a talented a group of independently successful musicians come together together with this kind of collective magic. No one is trying to outshine anyone else -- it's all about the whole being more important than the parts, but damn -- if they weren't all so good at their parts, the whole could never be this amazing.

I remember hearing this live on Howard. Really impressed. Stern show musical guests always comment on how great the sound is in his studio.

You didnt pick up the the little band joke when Amanda played a few bars of Billy Joel’s “we didn’t start the fire” during her solo. Watch the band when she plays it.
She does something different on the outro too that makes them laugh that I don’t recognise.

Tim Hanseroth on guitar, and Phil Hanseroth on bass. The twin brothers are collaborators with Brandi Carlile.

You really need to do a deep dive on the late Eva Cassidy...astonishing and drop dead gorgeous voice...Live At Blues Alley should be in everybody's music library.

LOVE the acoustic bass in this version.

It’s Isbell and the Hanseroth twins (Brandi’s band) are the non-females in this.

Wonderful video Michael! I think the chords/notes you were talking about were in the original Fleetwood Mac version, however. What is added here is Amanda's marvelous violin. She seems to have the Gypsy soul of a great violinist from 12th Century Europe. Her violin cries and so does anyone who is listening.

Well done, Michael. Harmonies, riffs, the rhythm section-- so in the pocket-- really sweet. I still remember when I heard it live on Howard!

I remember hearing this on Stern for the first time live as it was happening and the chicken skin was clicking on every level; the musicality, the arrangement, how they play so well with the intensity changes, and DAMN those harmonies are just insane. Seeing the video doesnt actually hurt either ;) and lets all step back and just say "respect" to Lindsey Buckingham. Such a unique player and so integral to that sound

Really enjoying your videos. Got into them for the Isbell songs but branched out into a lot of others.

I concur with the other comments by saying you really should do a Brandi Carlile song. Especially a live version. Her voice is unreal.

I don't always watch the videos Michael covers...
...but when I do I am more amazed by the performances...
