Sonic Frontiers OST - I'm With you + The End monologue

I love this track but during the boss you're not much focusing on The End's monologue.
I tried to sync it up as close as I could to how it plays out in game.

Biggest sin of the 3rd update is removing the monologue

Some might find this corny, but writing wise it's one of the best moments in the series for me because it really puts in perspective Sonic's heroism. To protect nature from Eggman's silly machines, he was there. To heal a hate-blinded gargantuan water creature, he was there. To seal a monster carrying the sum of all the negative energy in the planet hidden under its crust, he was there. THAT'S why this song is called "I'm With You".

As for the personification of the very concept of entropy, it would be no different.

No fear, no hesitation, only determination to stand for what you care about and unbridled courage.

Idc if I'm sounding corny rn, but yeah, this is the kind of courage that i strive for!

I recently found out that The End was voiced by Cindy Robinson (Amy's voice actress) and Mike Pollock (Eggman's voice actor), this makes a lot of sense considering that it's Sonic and Sage who are facing him and that according to Kishimoto The End's appearance varies from person to person and depends on the perception who is seeing it.

Narratively one of my favorite bosses by FAR in the series. That moment when about 2/3 of the dialogue is over and it takes a break and literally turns the music up to ponder this sick monologue youre getting while the Earth comes back into view.
My favorite part, though, is when just the piano plays while Sonic's "brilliant golden light" soars through the sky. Brought a lot of feelings up as a life long Sonic fan, if only at least because I could tell they gave a shit with this one.

Now that I listen to The End's monologue it reminds me of the battle against Nyx Avatar from Persona 3

The boss may have not been impactful comparing the gameplay to other bosses... but narratively, it's probably the most impactful final boss in any Sonic game. Sonic taking the personification of death head on (with a little help, of course) was quite the treat to witness. I can't help but love the boss as it is now (before The Final Horizon update) just because of how much it makes sense in the narrative.

I feel like Sonic was able to take down The End not because of his courage, his strength, none of that... I feel like it's because he may have accepted that death is inevitable. He was able to over come the fear of death and rather be scared and run from it, face it head on and fight 'till the end. But... Sonic still knows death isn't truly the end, it's just the end of our "main story". Our legacy and history will live on, whether it's through physical objects, memories, or our essence. We'll all be here. We ARE here. Together. Forever.

We will never truly be gone.

I love when the end says it saw through Sonic’s mind and that’s it actually respect him after seeing his memories but like a true it’s not afraid of sonic just respects him

I loved the new update but im sad they didn't let is directly fight THE END with this music playing, we dont even get to hear the awesome monologue! The new Final Boss was awesome as hell but i still love this one too.

(And yes i know you can still fight the old boss, but i wish we got a revamped true form END fight and more dialogue from THE END.)
