Bún chả chay - Caramelized Impossible™ Beef Made From Plants

I've partnered with Impossible™ Beef Made From Plants to make delicious food that anyone will enjoy, whether they be omnivorous or plant-based! Today I'm recreating a famous Vietnamese dish, bún chả. Obama and Bourdain once ate this dish in Hanoi, and the restaurant, Bún chả Hương Liên, is often now referred to as Bún Chả Obama, which I think is delightful and hilarious.

Bún chả is said to be from the northern region (Hanoi), and is known for the Vietnamese classic trifecta: refreshing, savoury, and balanced! My take on this dish is a plant-based version, making it bún chả chay!

The impossible mince looks so real that I got grossed out for a moment when you were mixing it before reminding myself it's not dead animals :D either way the end result looks amazing!

Darn... the Impossible Meat for this would cost me $24 where I live! Anyone else finding inflation takes some of the fun out of exploring. Of course, I have no idea how much animal meat costs, but I have been following whole foods plant based for long enough now that I have lost touch with how much processed vegan foods cost. Living away from a major city has different costs, I guess! Thanks for your inspiring videos, though. I am sure I can use some parts of the recipe to wake up my cooking!

Dont throe away the Kohlrabi Peels and leafs the peels for stock and the leafs to fill with rice or lentils or vegan meats when huge enough. I thought Kohlrabi are a german/european thing, i love them raw or in salads
