J’adore Oribe Gold Lust shampoo and conditioner. I bought vast quantities at a Beautylish sale (large amount at a discounted price and then a discount on top of that!). 70 yrs old; long pin straight fine hair, colored and highlighted.
EDIT: And oh I have an oily scalp but I wash once or twice a week. I can’t remember a shampoo I detested. I do use Olaplex 3 after every color and/or highlighting.

I didn't think I would be too interested in a hair care video but as always your video was great!! Stayed thru to the roast 🔥
I haven't used any of the brands you mentioned here. I have been using Redken High Rise volume shampoo & conditioner for years now and it has been a game changer!! I've always had thick, luxurious hair...until a few years back. Now it's kinda thinning and lifeless til the Redken. I also use their Extreme anti-snap leave in treatment on wet hair before I brush it out. Helps with breakage & split ends. I used to use Pantene in my teens & twenty's...it smelled so good!! The worst shampoo I ever tried was the OGX O2...no sulfates but made my hair flat af!! One product I absolutely love is drybar Southern Belle root lifter. It works great but it smells so bad to me...like that cheap (sorry!) perfume Tabu that everyone's grandmother wore in the 80's 😃
Luckily, the smell does dissipate pretty quickly after blow drying. And don't wash your hair more than 2-3 times a week...strips the natural oils 😉

I love Olaplex products as well, but I do rotations with stronger shampoo too, either for avoiding "build up" and price tag! 😂
As for dry shampoos, I love the Living proof one! They've recently come out with another one, I can't wait to try it.

Glad to hear you mention Verb Hydrating shampoo/conditioner - they're some of my favorites and I feel like I never hear anyone talk about them!

Thank you for telling us your hair type. I have fine hair so I cannot use heavy products. Love Verb Ghost line.

Agree with you totally about the olaplex shampoo. I wash my hair every 3-4 days and also like Redken color extend magnetics shampoo (my salon uses it) and the Sisley revitalizing straightening shampoo. Coleen Rothschild makes a great restorative mask I love for deep conditioning.

Thank you for doing this video! 💜
I love your content! I'm an olaplex girl. The whole line has saved my natural blonde- but highlighted hair. My hair is fine but not thin. Olaplex is my personal favorite. I've tried the Redken acidic bonding concentrate shampoo and conditioner with the leave in treatment- its ok. But I'll stick with olaplex.

From using only cheap drugstore shampoo and conditioner eg Palmolive, herbal essence and Pantene then switching to Olaplex - a world of a difference. I can’t go back. But as you mentioned once I’m done with Olaplex, I do try another brand before switching back. I tried Avede shampoo and conditioner. I really enjoyed them but not as great as olaplex.

What a GREAT video, my beautiful friend!!!! Your hard work shows and is deeply appreciated!!! I completely agree with your opinion of the ones I have tried: BB, Living Proof, Verb, Pureology… hopefully I am not forgetting any. I have never tried Olaplex because of what the very few negative reviews said (dries hair), BUT I will try it some day. I have to!!! As you know, I m not as lucky as you. I have thin hair. Yikes, thin & straw-y. It has never been highlighted because (honesty here) everyone I know that is of Italian + Portuguese descent and has highlighted hair… well, I think it doesn’t work with the overall coloration of the person. The person looks at least 10 years older. With your coloration and eye color, highlights look fantastic!!!! Not a one-size-fits-all in my opinion, though. I hope no one comes for me just because that’s what I think. If it makes the person happy, obviously go for it. I never did and never will. I love being a plain brunette. 😃 I wash my hair twice a week. Not an everyday washer either!!! And we talked about plateau before. Totally. Plateau is definitely a thing, and that’s why I don’t trust samples completely. You get a sample and go WOW, only to find out the wow goes away with regular use. Have to rotate but, in all honesty, sometimes you simply cannot go back to the effects you had the very first time. 🤩💖

Hi Rebecca
I only wash my hair 1's a week I to have thick coloured hair I'm at the hairdressers every 6 weeks as the grey is getting worse😩
I have just purchased the shampoo & conditioner bars along with the tins for storage so I can stop buying big plastic bottles, I used it on Saturday my hair is fab and a lot less breakage so that's a good thing . I will keep keep using my olaplex no 8 for the moment till I finish the bottle . I also stopped buying shower gel in plastic bottles & went for a cleansing bar
I feel better as I'm doing my bit for the environment.😇
Your hair looks amazing loving the lilic top hope your feeling better from the cold 🥶 ♥️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

I absolutely love the olaplex hair mask. My hair salonist who normally does my hair got me started on that for damage from thermal Japanese I get sometimes!! I also love Davines line. Almost forgot that line. Thanks for saving me from trying Living Proof. I don't like anything that dries or damages the hair. I may have to try the Oribe Gold lust line. I loved the blue tube back in the day!! I also love kerastase especially the gold and orange lines!! Never steered me wrong!! I do shampoo, conditioner, deep masks and serums, sprays and leave in conditioners!! Whatever makes my hair shiny and manageable and usually I air dry unless I am doing an acting shoot!! Then I straighten it!! Oh I do love shine masks in particular also!! Loved this video, great job Beautiful!!! ❤️🥰😎😏❤️😘😍🤩😃❤️

OUAI my obsession has grown! Lol. I got a sample of their Dean Street perfume. It’s the only one I don’t have. They haven’t made travel size yet omg I die!!! They sent me an air freshener like the pine tree you hang in car lol. I put it between my seats. My husband said Omg your car smells incredible what is that?! I love it all just for two of the new leave in conditioners they do with byreido and the body creme. I used it and the shampoo and conditioner and leave in last night my hair looks amazing and I smell incredible lol if I do say so!

I switch my shampoos constantly and I feel that a lot of drugstore shampoos are very similar to high end but that’s not to say high end aren’t worth it, some definitely are. I have used the Kirkland signature moisture shampoo for like 6 or 7 years on and off and I absolutely love it!! It is a dupe for pureology nano works gold they smell the exact same and it’s a rumor that pureology even makes the Kirkland shampoo (Costco brand) you should totally give it a try!

Tried Olaplex years ago and i noticed I needed to wash my hair more frequently as it would get oily earlier than usual. Now I have well water which is drying my hair and skin. I shower at least once a day due to workouts and we have lots of humidity. I might give it another chance during VIB sale. I’m also looking at the T3 shower head to filter the water. Great review 😋

As far as Amika products go, I LOVE their the Kure shampoo and conditioner. It's great for damaged hair - on par with Olapex and Pureology. Their normcore range isn't intended for damaged hair - the products from that line were ok but I wouldn't repurchase since I have damaged hair that needs all the love it can get.

I actually rotate between the Kure, Pureology, and Olaplex 4p.

If you're willing to give it another chance, I definitely recommend it.
