The main reason for videos being blocked on YouTube is not censorship, but copyright, and most of the time it is the owner or creator who request this blocking.

The fact about 60% of videos being blocked is outdated. Today pretty much no Videos are blocked anymore, the reason why they were blocked many years ago is due to germanys strict copyright laws

Just to make it clear. If you flee from a prison there won't be charges against you for fleeing. But oc you will get charged when you comitted other crimes while fleeing like blackmailing/taking hostages/murder etc.
So you cant just kill some guards, walk out, get caught again and they're like "Uh.. he just wanted to be free. Forget about the corpses" :D

The blocked content issue has long been solved. It was all about copyright issues and creators being paid.

The 9x bigger than Paris claim is the surface of the administrative entity that actually bears the name “Paris” or “Berlin“. In terms of population, the two are much closer. In terms of urbanised area including suburbs, Paris is much bigger - only large parts of it aren’t called „Paris“.

Berlin actually has 2 Zoos... the older "Zoologischer Garten" wich is located directly in the City Center between Kurfürstendamm and the district of Tiergarten, is indeed the largest Zoo when it comes to indivudual species in exhibition ... but not by area covered.
The "Tierpark Berlin" in the east covers an area that is almost triple the size.

On the first magazine topic: German inventor Johannes Guttenberg invented printing, so the German region (at that time there was no united Germany as today) was the first in Europe to mass-produce printed works.

Hugo Boss did NOT design those uniforms. The notorius black SS Uniform was designed by Karl Diebisch. Boss was just one of the tailor factorys, that made those uniforms.

Hamburgers - Hamburg
Frankfurters - Frankfurt.
The Beatles incident was in 1960 when they were still teenagers, and long before they were famous. They were accused of attempted arson by the owner of the club where they were staying.

Hey hey IWrocker,

I just recently start watching your channel, because a friend told me it is good. So i started checking it out, so scrolled out some videos from way back and such. (I'm from the netherlands tho)

But i've seen most videos comparing USA with different Europe countries, including the dutch and stuff.
I'm shocked to see that most US education not evolve the rest of the world, as most of Europe are teached fro young age in multi-languages we have to learn (like here, we learn Dutch (ofc) English, French, German as basic) and the schools i went to, i had to learn italian, spanish, and even greek.
This is only the language package.

On history, or world knowledge, we have to learn about the europe factor ofcourse. Like you need the learn the US factors.
But we get the US factors in classes aswell, even all the way to china, and the world figures, what they all did and stand for till the current day!!

So i dont get it why are the US so involved with theirselfs? And know nothing or so less about the world!
I travelled alot, been in the US alot aswell, but they seem to know nothing... about the rest of the world... well most of them...
The first time i met a dear friend of mine (she is born and raised in the US) she was mind blown by the thing we do, and know... Like me being dutch and speak english (maybe not the " perfect" english) but she can clearly understand me....

So hell ya, i wanted to coment on you're older videos, like recently, but i thought you wouldn't read it, because the videos go way back.
That is why i just posted it now and here...

Very nice regards, and really love your channel! <3 Keep it up :)

In the list of inventions, a glaring omission! Germany invented the automobile. Didn't you react a couple of months back to that cool little MB promo vid about Bertha making the world's first 'road trip'? 🤣

5:33 It is because of copyright reasons... It has nothing to do with governmental censorship or something. It is how it is...

Edit: Germany is very, very strict if it comes to copyright stuff. They block stuff for preventional reasons so no one can complain...

I think I mentioned it before, it is illegal to stop on the Autobahn in general, other than for a emergency. Running out of fuel is not a emergency, as it can be prevented by the driver before entering the Autobahn. Thus it wins you a ticket if you break down without fuel there.

As for the condoms... there is not specific law of that kind. The Beatles were messing around setting condoms on fire in their hotel room, causing damage to the room, so they got kicked out. It is illegal to set a condom on fire while someone is still wearing it, though.... :)

Biggest zoo in Germany was new to me, too. And I am German.
Fun Fact: Germany has the most Zoos in the World, more than 400, if I'm not wrong.

this is an old video. some facts are not true anymore. like the population is about to hit 84 mio. and is growing. YT videos were blocked because of copyright and licenze issues. this is solved. and the energy is at moment more than 50% and fast growing.

Running out of fuel on the Autobahn ... there are gas stations directly at the Autobahn and even signs like "next gas station in 30 km". You actually can't miss them! :) So running out of fuel ... come on! Even the car informs the driver quite early that (s)he needs to tank the car by time! ^^+gg To the Coke and Fanta topic: These drinks taste in Germany very different than in the US as they use different type of sugar. In the US it's corn syrup - if I am not mistaken - and in Germany sugar beets, which is btw. healthier as it contains calium, iron and magnesium, too.

Regarding your question: Can we see you in Germany? Yes. Greetings from Germany, Thuringia (Gera).
I also learned something I didn't know about Hoogo Boss either.
Fact 26 the hamburger steak (patty) was originally raw. It still exists, it's known as Beefsteak Tatar or Mett (Hackepeter).
Fact 27 The lederhosen are old, but the dirndl (dress) only came into being at the end of the 19th century. PS: It comes from Bavaria and only 13 Mil. of the 85 million Germans are Bavarians (only in October and festivals). It's like Texas. Because "all" Americans are not cowboys.

@Hamburgers there are several theories how that came to be, but one that I personally like the best is:
It comes from the Hamburger Frikadelle, which some people put on a bake roll... Someone brought that over
to the US and bam, the Hamburger Frikadelle became the Hamburger :)

The first adventure zoo in the world, however, is Hagenbek's Tierpark in Hamburg. Karl Hagenbek was the inventor of gridless animal husbandry (1896) and was the first to design the enclosures according to the natural habitats of the respective animals.
