I don't speak Chinese but she sounds very fluent!
There are 1 million Chinese people in Japan and 200k Japanese citizens living in China. Most of them integrate very well in their respective host country and try to learn the local language.
I myself am part Chinese, my great grandma had a Chinese surname (黨), and it appears her family migrated to Japan some 850 years ago.
My grandpa was a pacifist and buddhist despite having been sent to China during the war and could read and write classical Chinese.

As neighbor countries, our culture and tradition are very close. Culture exchange began even from Qin Dynasty (221BC - 206BC). Cooperated Japan China should be win-win.

This must be the way forward for many past rivals countries in Asia like Japan and China, North and South Korea and last but not the least India and Pakistsn + China.
