This Chinese Soldier Raising The Flag At The Olympics Really Gave It His All And People Love It

A Chinese soldier had an encounter with a stray flag during the flag-raising ceremony at the men’s cross-country 15km + 15km skiathlon at the Beijing Winter Olympics on Sunday Feb. 6.

The audience camera from Finnish television channel, YLE TV 2, first captured the moment, which then went viral on Eurosports’ TikTok account.

The soldier’s unfazed reaction as the flag hit his face and rose has gained more than 18 million views and more than 2 million likes in less than 24 hours on TikTok.
