Plot twist, your OC was not from baldur's gate and someone asked what their name was, they paniked and saw a big wooden sign that says something but someone's big head was partially blocking what was on the sign, so you can only read part of it, so you introduced yourself as Tav.

In fact, this is not the first time when someone mentions the name "Tav", it could also be seen in the browser game about the Dark Urge from Larian. There, the main character, the detective, was called Tav.

Actually funny considering Shadowheart is her "chosen" or rather given name, and Tav is the default name of the character YOU decide the name of. Both names technically being fake haha
