In what shockingly turned out to be the season of the year FOR ME, POUR MOI, Canada's Drag Race Vs the World 2 has been a delight from start to finish. From amazing challenges, a cast filled with chemistry and great dynamics, amazing lip syncs, and drama, this season has everything you could want and more in a Drag Race season!

With superstars like Alexis Mateo, Kennedy Davenport, Miss Fiercalicious and Cheryl Hole all on board, did production push certain fan favorites to the end? Did La Kahena deserve to be the first double porkchop? Did Lemon get pushed to the finale? I think Lemon suffered the same thing with Sethlas in Espana All Stars. She went in favored but when she is doing great and she is given an unfair high placement, people instantly turn on her.
And I just cannot agree that the lip sync finale was that hard to call. Cheryl should have won. Alexis should have won. But Lemon easily did the best. And she did the best against a very solid task.

Aside from the rigging, I'm gonna say something potentially controversial:
We should have never made cross franchise series aside from a single one like Global All Stars, and instead we just needed Canada All Stars, UK All Stars, etc.

As a Canadian, I'm so proud to see how GOOD the vs the world seasons have been.
And Lemon definitely deserved the crown. She dominated the entire time and it's a huge redemption from her unfair first week elimination (imo) in UK vs the world. Jimbo winning a USA main season of All Stars is also an amazing moment for Canada after her UK vs the world elimination too.

Fierce kinda pulled a Valentina on AS4 in which they tried to rely too much into a character to make good tv that by the end they realized they shot themselves in the foot and instead of becoming a front runner they became the delusional girl whos gonna get cut before the finale which hey she still got her flowers from her fans for bringing the drama, but ig she sacrificed the change on the crown by doing her character

Not gonna lie, any CDR episode I watch... At the end I change it to "True, North, Strong and Rigged" in my head.

Episode one was judged in groups to allow a Canadian win and stop a Canadian going home first again. The clear top 2 taking into account performance and runway were Le Fil and Alexis. The bottom two were Tynomi and Fierce. But they called Lemons team the top to give lemon the win, and Le Fils team safe to avoid the Canadians being bottom at all and cause they couldn't get away with Le Fil ending bottom when she did the best. Alexis was thrown to the wolves...what better TV than one of the big names and favourites being bottom straight away. And I actually felt La Kahena did that specific song better than Eureka. All massively rigged. And that's what set the season off on a 'it's rigged' foot.

They did talk about Le Fill's pronouns on the show. I swear there was a scene where he said that he goes by either he or they both in and out of drag. He said that his drag is about finding the femininity in masculinity, not female illusion.
