I have a 1994 Nissan Altima and my speedometer does this, it has the normal one and then a digital one that's projected onto my windshield. I think it's really useful and it makes me wonder why it's taken this long for it to become widely used.

Plot twist: the USA doesnt have the worst drivers, especially compared to countries where dash cams are almost required to prevent fraud. If you dont like it, please leave and save the space for someone that cares

You're going to be waiting for a while for something to be commercially available. The biggest hurdle for a self-driving car is that you're putting something very logical and intelligent with something unpredictable and incredibly stupid, the average driver in the US.

Love the technology, not the price. Garmin is a terrible company, they do everything to suck the most money out of their customers as possible.
There are already tons of free navigation apps for phones out there, and instead of companies use them to adjust to the market, helping the customer, they prefer to to just monopolize the tech and charge you an arm and a leg for it.
