Ever hear of culture shock? That is what occurs when a person from one country adjusts to the culture of a new country.

"My Two Pesos - Pt. 2" will discuss my third month of Philippine culture shock from a newbie American expat perspective. I've only lived in the Philippines a few months, but I'm already noticing the smaller nuances outside of the expected culture shock. In today's episode, I discuss the stereotype of Filipina women being on the prowl for retired expats, the odd quirk of eyebrow twitching among Filipinos, and the ever dreaded phrase "Out of Stock" so commonly heard in the Philippines.

The Philippines is a wonderful country full of many bustling cities as well as laid-country towns. But of all the countries I've traveled, the culture shock in the Philippines has been much less severe.
