Some of the things that mother was asking; "they fee you well?" "Do you like it?" - It's like WTF. he's talking about starving guys, dead bodies and she acts like he's away at a fun camp trip or something. Amazing how out of touch they are even to the point of not hearing what's being told.

Wow, that first guy has excellent hearing...he can hear what language the enemy soldiers are speakign from the second line of defence. He even identified all the languages. Im sure in reality, all their commanders have been telling them is "there are no ukrainians here, only the nato - thats why we are losing"

The first soldier had such a soft, modest-sounding voice but then, he was asking his mother if she wanted a ear of a dead black soldier for souvenir!!!??? That is so abnormal that I can't even process it.

"Okay actually we need to send you to Ukraine eith insufficient training but don't worry, you are not going to front lines"

I don't know how many Canadians are in Ukraine as volunteers, but I am proud of them and hope they make every bullet count. Glory to the brave men and women fighting in Ukraine.

He asked "what are they doing here?" with regards to the older guys wanting something, so he apparently believes they are at the front lines voluntarily, and not because they have to be there or be sent to jail or worse. It's astounding what the russian average joe does not know...
