I've spent a good deal of the day trying to figure out what the heck was up with the N64 emulation on muOS, and a Reddit post brought me here. Thank you so much for the hotkey info! I was completely unaware that this was a standalone emulator and couldn't figure out why it wasn't picking up the custom Retroarch settings, and why the N64 saves and states were being dumped into a muos/save directory.

If it had bluetooth and HDMI support it would be perfect. Batocera had me spoiled with the built-in scraper too but really it's the HDMI and bluetooth that hold me back from making the switch. Portmaster adds a whole new dimension to this little device.

I have a rg35xx h with muos beans installed.it's an amazing software, simple to use, extremely well done, retroarch works incredibly well, no bugs at all, everything works great, the quality of emulation with video filters and shaders enabled is very high, really really good .However, there is only one thing that I don't like, the search for roms in the file explorer because the developer should have done as in garlic OS by using all the back buttons to be able to scroll by letter and also search by writing the title like on the software stock.I hope to introduce these features in the future.

Mine came in the mail today. I have about 12 modded consoles, so I'm not as geeked as I should be but I'm still looking forward to what custom firmware brings to the mix.

editors note: got portmaster up and running. AM2R is incredible, GTA: Vice City is great and I bought Stardew and its on there as well. Couldn't be happier.

Great video about a great device with a great os-update, I installed v10 just the day before... :D now I just have issues with DS-Emulation via drastic, but I'm working on that I think.

Another awesome video, greatly appreciated. I was wondering - would it be possible for you to do a guide on upscaling and shaders for this console and muOS/RA

It’s a minefield for people like myself who are new to software emulation.

Thanks 🙌🏼

I just made an IMG and booted up MuOS..truly smooth. Question: Does it have video player support (MP4, MKV, etc..), like the latest stock Ok of anbernic??

im use garlicOS on the original RG35XX, ive decided to order the plus model. im used to holding menu during a game to get ingame hotkeys menu and making some changes now and then in retroarch. is this possible on muOS during a game? or is every game played the same as you shown in n64 emulator?
