Την ίδια στιγμή που ο εκπρόσωπος του τούρκου προέδρου Ταγίπ Ερντογάν, ο Ιμπραΐμ Καλίν δήλωσε σήμερα με θράσος - και ενώ βρίσκεται εν εξελίξει μια προσπάθεια επαναπροσέγγισης Άγκυρας - Δαμασκού - ότι "μια χερσαία στρατιωτική επιχείρηση στη Συρία είναι πιθανή ανά πάσα στιγμή", οι τουρκικές ένοπλες δυνάμεις θρηνούν ένα ακόμη μέλος τους, καθώς οι Κουρδικές και οι Συριακές κυβερνητικές δυνάμεις εξακολουθούν να τις χτυπούν όπου και όποτε μπορούν.
Έτσι αυτή την φορά, όπως αναφέρει δημοσίευμα του Συριακού Παρατηρητηρίου Ανθρωπίνων Δικαιωμάτων, Κούρδοι και Σύροι, χτύπησαν με ρουκέτες και βολές πυροβολικού, την τουρκική βάση που βρίσκεται στο χωριό Hazwan στην περιοχή της Al-Bab, ανατολικά από το Χαλέπι, τραυματίζοντας σοβαρά αρκετούς τούρκους στρατιώτες, οι οποίοι μεταφέρθηκαν σε νοσοκομείο της Τουρκίας, με ελικόπτερο που έσπευσε στη βάση και τελικά ένας από αυτούς έχασε την ζωή του.
