The doctor who stitched my mother's nose back together when she was a kid: "Don't wiggle! Don't wiggle!"
I bet she wouldn't have minded some of that stuff.

I was given that for my endoscopy/colonoscopy and I straight up asked my doctor, “may I just go to sleep?” They replied, “yeah! If you want to, that’d be great!” And then I woke up 2 hours later in recovery.

This is what they must have done to me when I dislocated my wrist again! After the broke and dislocated it the first time 20 years ago. The nurse said I kept saying no molly stop…… molly is my dog 😂

That is very disturbing. I remember when my youngest son had a brain bleed when he was two weeks old and they had to put him under conscious sedation and his eyes were wide open but he was limp and it freaked me out and I had to step away thank you for explaining it to people that don’t know what the Hells going on with their babies. My son was premature. That’s why he had a brain bleed at such a very young age. Thank the Lord Jesus Christ that my son is OK and he’s thriving. He is five years old and he is hyper. It’s just it’s sad when they grow up.

I wish this had existed when I was a kid. I was 3 and it took 6 nurses to hold me down so the doctor could stitch my head and traumatize me for life. 😳

I'm a vet tech when they had to do this with my daughter I giggled they let me stay in the room since I actually know about this procedure and knew what to expect 🤣😅

I was in my 30’s, they did that to me because they were cutting close to my brain but I felt so confused “waking up”.

Doc: on deployment, I cant sedate you but we need to put your shoulder back in place. Hands me a belt and tells me to bite. Mufker straightened me out in 10 seconds against a wall. I almost punched him😂

I had stitches in my lip when I was 5.5 and they just numbed it. I remember everything. To this day the latex glove smell brings it all back

My son was diagnosed with cancer at just 5 and by heck during some of his treatments and procedures did he just not want anymore. They put him under GA for lumbar punctures etc but some of the other stuff no, just midazolam which tbh did nothing for him. It was far more traumatising seeing him fight so much and get so upset than this would have been honestly Hes 9 now and recently got his full remission status though. Few post chemo issues but hopefully nothing too serious 🤞🏼

There's this happy hardcore song that says that ketamine is for horses and not people. Clearly its for both.

That explains why I can only remember bits and pieces of getting my big toe stitched back on 😂😂😂

I remember coming out of anesthesia for the closed reduction of my left distal radius fracture by saying “Twilight is COOL!”

I sure hope the ER staff knew I was talking about the ketamine and not the book/movie.

As a ketamine provider... I think it's good to mention ketamine is a very safe drug, so safe that they began using it in vetenary medicine (we are not good at resuscitating animals). It's also used in psychedelic therapy as it has a psychedelic effect and creates neuroplasticity. It has several uses and several psychological and physiological benefits. It's a wonderful medication and is our societies ethnogen.

I'm a Veterinary Nurse. Have you ever seen a cat flippin' out, crashing itself on the metal bars of a cage trying to come out of Ketamine sedation? 😳
They see, hear & feel 💩 that others can't! 😮
Recreational use? HELL NAW!
🙈🙉🙊

I’ve had conscious sedation so I could follow commands and the memory I have is so weird. Like I remember looking at the tv screen they had and being like “huh that’s inside me” and like other fuzzy memories lol. It so interesting how those drugs work
