Yes thankU!! This free plugins for mastering was great!! I use ott as well for mastering quite often, but I used the stock OTT plugin in ableton.. Well amazing video!!

Fabfilter ProMB and VINAI XTT are also multiband Upward/Downward compressors

Thank you very very much!!!! TDR Nova I can not recommend enough. Choose Mid / Side module from top to only effect those parts. Also if you are using FL Studio, MAximus can do upward compression.

Totally nailed these, man! For those that are looking for a paid option, Slate's Virtual Mix Rack comes with their FG-X plugin, and it is insane for clarity on a master. I've got a couple of songs on my channel that both have it on the master if anyone wants to hear it in action. Mixdown on each is coming soon as well. Cubase users have a "free" built-in multiband upward/downward plugin called Squasher - a little more advanced than OTT too.

Even though it's not "true upward compression", I've seen many people mention that parallel compression achieves a similar effect. What do you think about this?

0:35 Axis by Soundspot is another "Upward Multiband Compressor" - Gives a bit more control and has 5 bands. Not sure if it's "good enough" for the mixbus though... (and it's not free)
