The biggest effect that we are hearing there is oversampling and gain. You can turn on oversampling without any other changes and it will change the sound, maybe even more than the actual changes you wanna make with the plugin. Oversampling can sounds spacious and seems like cleaner when you turn it on, but there's a bad side to it - often sound can loses transients, definition, depth, dynamic nuances... and first of all - it just do what you not asking it to do, most people turn it on cause everybody saying that it makes the sound better.
What I recommend - is always check it twice and very important to do it at low volume when you can hear the transients and details. At loud volumes most of the time we are ready to say goodbye to definition cause of how "clean" it start sounds with oversampling.

Nice, but I tried a few hardware looking emulation plugins but I just do not get what they do. I rather like to see what is actually happening graphicly .I am lost just turning knobs, as I am no audio engineer so I do not even know what these knobs do^^ still using the analog obsession stuff for the fun of it

I try to record and reduce so that there would be less processing with IK Multimedia T-RackS Tape plug-ins on the master, plus the equalizer and limeter of the studio included in the Mixcraft studio, I try not to use third-party native ones, but I am not a professional director, I am a teacher teaching music to children))
