Drag soldering a 100 pin 14mm QFP for a PiStorm 600

Correction: I say "solder paste" at the beginning when I mean "flux".

Drag soldering a 100 pin 14mm MAX II QFP on a PiStorm 600 PCB captured directly from my microscope's camera.

JLCPCB assembled most of these boards, but the MAX II chips are pretty rare at the moment so I manually solder these on from a pre-existing stock.

Tools used:
* JBC CB-2BB iron with a C245-965 1.9mm mini spoon tip
* SolderKing 30cc flux in a Metcal dispensing gun
* JBC PK vacuum pick and place
* Kester 0.4mm 63/37 solder
* Wiha 7a tweezers
* AmScope 3.5X-90X Trinocular Boom Stereo Microscope with 144-LED Light and AF USB Camera

I always knife edge while touching pads en the ends of the pins. Your way looks better since you bring a lot more temperature into the pins with that blunt tip. I'll give it a try. Thanks.

Also thinking about which size of spoon tip in the C245 series i should buy, there is the 1.9mm, 2.3mm and the 2.7mm? Hard to see in all these videos which one people are using mostly. I was thinking about the 1.9mm, but it feels like it will only be able to hold a very smal amount of solder? Maybe 1.9mm is enough to drag solder most IC´s?

HELP! I'm becoming strangely obsessed with microsoldering. I blame my new JBC.
PS: you said you use the 1.9mm C245965, but I was told that was a bit small so was just about to buy the 2.3mm C245067 (bent spoon). Which do you think I should get?
