I know everybody cant afford to spend $350 on a pair of ANC headphones like the Sony 1000XM3, but honestly there are some really good $200 headphones out there from big name brands thanks to heavy competition. But there are also some less expensive headphones out there from lesser known brands that some publications even claim they give premium ANC headphones like the Bose QC35’s a run for their money.

I got the TT-BH046 headphones today, and after even a few minutes of listening it became very clear to me that these are the best TaoTronics cans so far - and by a considerable margin, too. Greater clarity (*far* greater clarity indeed), better resolution in the mids and highs, and a bass that, though emphasized, is much less booming and quite a bit snappier than before. Compared in particular to the TT-BH060, which were released at around the same time - and which I hated (those sounded murky, muffled and flat), they're an upgrade in every conceivable aspect except maybe comfort. Better sound, better ANC, superior design & style (the sleek aluminum & plastic mix on the BH046 is on a par with considerably more expensive cans). The TT-BH046 are the first TaoTronics I would safely recommend to any lover of pop, rock & hip-hop.

How are there so many people saying save up for the xm3s. Ik they're awesome headphones. I got my friend to get them and I use them often but I'd probably never get it myself. Way too much for headphones imo. Unless you've got money to throw it's just not a worthwhile investment for most.

I have the Bower PX and I have a lot of buyers remorse. The pressure on the ears is nasty and the quality loss with ANC on is very bad. Today, I would buy the Bose. Not because of the sound, but because they soft and comfortable

Everyone has forgotten about the PXC 550s for whatever reason... And I don't know why because lots of people used to say they were better than the bose QC 35s and many other ANC headphones. Especially now that they only cost $200-230 USD it makes no sense that they are forgotten in these new comparisons to me. Not just you, many other reviewers have forgotten to include them in new comparisons and reviews... 🤔

Very curious to get your perspective on how the TaoTronics Soundsurge 46 (the upgraded version) compare to the Sony WH-XB900N. Currently own a TaoTronics and tried switching to the Plantronics Pro Beat and damn, did I regret... Had to return.

Bought a pair of TaoTronics SS 55's which are their 2020 top of the line model. $100. Lasted 1 day. Wouldnt turn on any more. Charged, just stopped working. In general the whole thing was pretty cheap feeling. Battery life on mine was about 7 hours total before failure with ANC on. I really wouldnt recommend the TaoTronics brand if this is the build quality of their newest flagship headphones. Also had a pretty strong smell.

ANC was pretty decent, but honestly not spectacular. The volume was pretty limited though. Loud enough for most use, but if you ever want to listen to music loud.... these will massively disappoint you.
