I do not agree with author. gcc and clang are both optimized for modern hardware and both compilers are compatible with with any reasonably popular architectures. It's more important to stick to one and master it.

My biggest complaint about llvm is its debugger. You will think that lldb and gdb are very similar, and there aren’t. I use an M1, and I can not use gdb on it. I have tried learning lldb but a lot of the things that are very easy to do on gdb are very complicated on lldb. I’m already giving up on lldb, and I’m currently building a Linux server so I can debug it because I find this to be faster than figuring out how to do remote debugging (debbuger scripting).

Great job producing this video entirely using OpenBSD! I want to get more into C programming. This comparison of compilers was really helpful.
