Even though this is not one of the biggest channels out there, I have to say I enjoy it a lot, and its content it's pretty original. Thanks, Jolsn!

Dude, I wanted to thank you for your current run of guides. I'm an on and off player, returning after a long break and really wanting to settle in and make the game my home, and all of your content has helped to do that. The simple approach to the guides, the calm well thought out and instructional style, it helps someone like me who just wants the info, and the step by step process helps me so much.

Thank you, really do appreciate it

I just tried Ipsusu and it's absolutely my favourite - The colours have improved dramatically and no drop in fps from my old machine too!

Oh thank you very much for the mentioning :) Just a sidenote, sorry if I missed it, please enable the "Performance Mode" at the bottom of your Gshade, when using Gameplay-Presets :)

It's not every day that I find EXACTLY what I was looking for online, but you really just hit it spot on with this! I really needed a simple video that helped me find SIMPLE not overdone presets that dont go hard on performance. You not only provide several options, but the previews you give are very helpful. Thank you so much!

I can say monitor definitely makes a huge difference to the visuals in this game, as well as resolution. I've been playing on my gf's pretty dated setup for a while, until I recently fixed my PC and was able to play on a nice 4k monitor - the difference is actually astonishing. It was like the first time I put on glasses.

These are pretty great, but i feel like the game would benefit the most from increasing the shadow resolution. Seeing low quality shadows on the characters during cutscenes sucks, but i don't think it will be fixed any time soon. It would be cool if you also made a video on the graphics options in the game and made some recommendations. Great video as always.

I personally use Ipsusu Cold Gameplay, it's subtle and clean, love it :) Thank you for sharing this, Gshade is a step up for me after nvidia filters

Leeja is excellent, feels like what the game should look like without going overboard

I am a huge fan of Ipsusu’s shaders. Super easy on the fps.

Subscribed! I've been playing this game off and on since 1.0 and I'm still learning new things about this game from you.

Another preset I'd recommend (which is what I'm using) is Nightingale Studio. Similar to other ones you showed, it liven up the colors. What I like about this preset is that it doesn't just grab the Saturation value and crank it to 100 like many other presets do. This preset, though not too much, does have noticeable effects on FPS (mine went from 120 to 90), so maybe it's better fitted for someone with a decent machine, but it looks really nice and doesn't change the signature look of FF14. The only case have I seen it gets too bright for me is in the Aitia Scope dungeon in Endwalker, but honestly, that dungeon hurts even without any Gshade lol

Speaking of shades, is there any mod to fix jittering movement of shades during day cycle? Its not too much visible if you are moving, but its really disturbing in close-up dialogues.

From my point of view, the washed out greenish-grey effect that the game has does a disservice to the beautiful zones we go through, specially Mor Dhona, Lakeland and Il Mheg. As such, I went ahead and tweaked the Gshade Project Crystal a bit as it looked the most like what I wanted for the game: i.e starker contrasts, darker shadows and more vivid blues. And I did this namely because my main's hair color dark purple with blue highlights and I didn't like how washed out his hair looked.
