I feel bad for the 1st class passengers, not because there going to die but because they were switched onto a track running parallel to snowpiercer. Therefore, and we can even see this, they have to watch as the cars reconect, leaving no hope for them to return

I’m guessing that they didn’t install air brakes on Snowpiercer and Big Alice. Air brakes require air to release. If there were air brakes, both sections of uncoupled cars would’ve slowed down a lot quicker and the plan would be compromised.

I figured it out. The reason the occupants of the 7 uncoupled cars perished is because the cars ran out of heat. The train requires power to heat its interior. Same goes to the 3 cars that were uncoupled from Big Alice.

Won’t lie I cried when I first watched this I felt bad for all of layton’s allies but no remorse for commander grey and lj’s parents they just wanted to take over the train and do anything for their psychotic brat
