What a Wonderful World but you're calling a napalm strike on your position

Показать описание
Napalm is an incendiary mixture of a gelling agent and a volatile petrochemical. Napalm burns at temperatures ranging from 800 to 1,200 °C (1,470 to 2,190 °F). In addition, it burns longer than gasoline, is more easily dispersed, and sticks tenaciously to its targets. These traits make it extremely effective (and controversial) in the antipersonnel role. Reportedly about 352,000 tonnes of US napalm bombs were dropped in Vietnam between 1963 and 1973

Many, many thanks to my kind Patrons!

As an American Tank Commander, I’d love to see “Losing my Religion, but you’re an M1A1 Abrams crewman at 73 easting”. It’d be a cool thing because my dad told me stories of how he remembered hearing the song come on the Radio’s since it’s just came out when they first went in.

That ending was really disturbing, made me feel like my entire unit was killed in a friendly fire incident. Good job as always

My grandfather was a pilot during Mid to Late Vietnam. He and a buddy of his flew a McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom II on a couple of missions. He doesn't like to talk about it, like any other soldier. Sometimes he'll bring it up after a few drinks, and just looking at him rembering. Telling me these wild stories with a look on his face as if he is right there in the moment.

One story he brings up a lot is a mission dropping ordnance on a enemy occupied train yard in the dead of night. He seems to like that story, but I can tell his time serving in Vietnam really impacted him. It's to be expected from a war like that.

Love you Grandpa

"Nuclear" (Mike Olfield) but you're requesting a "Broken Arrow" code in your position because you and your men are being rolled with a couple platoons of T-80s

Before my grandpa died he told me his stories of when he was in Vietnam, he was a Green Beret and one day while we was fighting he was shot and was able to hold his position for 7 hours until evac rescued him. He was pretty messed up after that he told me because he drank a lot to get his mind off the battle but sadly he died early of last year.
