1. Pocket 4k
2. M50
3. Eos M

That said I just got a sweet deal on an EOS M so I picked that up and now I'm scouring youtube for (more) videos about it. While I'd love the bmpcc 4k for my needs it's looking like the EOS M will do everything I need for now at least, thanks for the great videos.

Hey amigo! Your content keeps surfacing in my recommended when I am searching for up to date Magic Lantern EOS M videos... now that Zeek has sadly gone silent for the last year or more there's a huge hole in this space, which you do an admirable job of filling!

I visited your site and was surprised that you don't run your own Discord ... while there is an "official" one for Magic Lantern, I haven't seen or found anything that is specifically for the EOS M

Thanks for this video, especially the settings. Im waiting to use Magic Lantern on it, still and have a full frame adapter, but right now I dont have any full frame lesnes, but I did buy APSC ones for it, a 25mm f1.4 CCTV lens, TTArtisan's 35mm and 50mm F0.95 which Im really having fun using on this camera, but since I dont have ML and an external monitor, focusing is becoming a big problem for distant subjects so I really do need to resolve those issues.
I've seen a YouTube video of someone setting up an anamorphic lens on an old VHS Camcorder, so I thought it would be a good idea to do a similar setup for this camera to give us the actual wide angle and the anamorphic characteristics for a cinematic video, especially with a gimble and a mattebox setup.
Im sure, if the compositions are good and I use those things and the diffusion filter and an ND, with some cool lighting, this camera can do killer work
Just using the mentioned lenses look beautiful, so I can imagine..

I was surprised how much more I liked the m50. I wanted to love the eos m but there was a lot of lost resolution that made it feel lower quality. the bm4k was the sharpest but that was expected.

I think one has to really have specific use cases for the eos m to shine. You really have to choose the right glass and nail your lighting

Excuse me I have a question, there’s just some resolutions or just my version of magic lantern doesn’t play my videos on my camera??

is there a way to get this Eos m look but not RAW but as mp4? For YouTube that should be enough for me...

are you using ML on your M50? If so which version firmware are you running?

M50 looks razor sharp.. EOS M looks great for that Cinema / old school movie look. Not sure if it's a viable option for YouTube content due to lack of AF & 4k resolution. I been playing around with my EOS M, unfortunately I find too many artifacts and a very soft picture.. to the point my Lenovo gaming mobile produces much better plug and play crystal clear 4k video.

Dare I say the bmpcc4k looks the worst. I like the m50 sharpness but generally the eosm looks the nicest.
