I saw miles davis in 1959. I was 31 years old. I'm 93 years old now, and I still crank up the volume control when listening to miles davis.

When you are listenning Miles you are not listening to a trumpet but to the sound of the Universe. It’s a spiritual experience.🙏

I wish all the kids blasting away on scales on their guitars at 1000 notes per second would listen to Miles. No show-off runs or tricks, tons of gorgeous space between notes. Each note means something. He’s not playing an instrument; he’s making music, creating a very special mood, communicating something that matters.

I was a Roman gladiator in the time of Jesus, there has never been music tho' that inspired me as much as the music of the great Miles Davis. My wife, who survived the Salem witch trials, agrees and when the moon is full on summer nights, we dance and joyously weep to his sounds; he keeps us young at heart.

My wife and I were 11 when we heard Miles for the first time in 1945. Now we are 112 and he still blows hard in our phonograph table. Makes Irene randy as hell! Thank you Mike

This particular performance of Time after Time is so special to me. Through his trumpet Miles was able to express all the deepest pain inside of him. His music is better than a any medicine you can buy at the pharmacy and even better than drugs if you have the ability to feel. God bless you Miles!

I'm 82. Miles hooked me on jazz when I was 13. Listened to a lot. Over 10, 000 albums later I'm still listening. The music always changes, but it never gets old. I keep changing too. That music and abstract expressionist art is what keeps me alive!
