We have suddenly started having a similar issue in our 2015 Patriot. The car has power and all the auxiliary items are working, the lights are not dim or anything. When I try to turn the car over is will struggle and often just give up and not start or click or anything. Sometimes if I put the car in neutral for a bit it will start, but only that one time - if you turn it off and immediately try to restart it it goes back to not starting. If we wiggle the switches it will start right up but then it immediately goes back to not starting properly, just like with the neutral trick. We took out the relay switches and they all look great, the wiring all looks great, idk what the problem could be.

My truck AC was working, as long as I was on the highway, right. So I think, I'll refill the refrigerant after draining it, and replace the condenser fan. So I get it drained... and can't refill it! So I notice the compressor isn't engaging!! What the hell? Did I ruin my compressor? Or is there any possibility the clutch is just out? Seems like bad news where it was working until...I laid MY hands on it!

If you had corroded fuses if you jump start the truck will it still turn on? Reason why I’m asking is because I jumped started my truck and it turned on real quick never turned off till I got home tried turning truck twice and it worked then the 3rd time it didn’t anymore

Hey man! Are you online tonight? I'm in a panic. You helped me fix my wife's jeep patriot with her ac. You helped me half way through, then I went mia. But I finished and it blows cold

I had one relay that was so corroded I couldn't even get one of the terminals out. I ended up depinning the whole set and moving to one of the open relay spots. I spliced the bad terminal wire and put a new end on it. Im wondering if i should shrink wrap that relay box to prevent future problems.

Every once in a while ours does this.. has power but doesn't even attempt to start, jumping it does nothing, nothing does anything tbh just usually after its towed to the shop it'll just turn over for them like nothings wrong and they act like im stupid or something lol could this be my problem you think?

I have the same problem today on a 2017 Patriot with the big 2.4L. The relay shown in this video is very clean on my Patriot. doesn't seem to be a problem.
But anyway, No crank with a freshly charged battery. It starts to crank but but stops immediately. It is a 2017 with very low miles. Original the battery just gave up today. Strange warning whatsoever. One day fine, next day no crank.

After doing a complete diagnostic myself I came to the conclusion that there was a bad cell on the battery I’ve never had this happen with any other vehicle most the time I’m gonna say it’s probably the battery if it’s not the battery it’s probably a bad connection
