The moment when Chaos 0 just walks up to Tails. Tails being the fox with an IQ of 300, hides in a corner screaming for help when he could've just flew away with his two tails.

Sonic is honestly a really great mascot. Even if his games aren't always good, it's really fun to watch how he confronts new and interesting enemies.

It’s sooo strange to see Knuckles serious in one verse and dumb but funny in another series. Which is better: Knuckles! Or Knuckles?

Problems with this plot:

Sonic's friends are so useless they can't stop Eggman without him. The whole "war" ambience doesn't fit well with a Sonic game. Sonic was tortured for six months and his personality didn't change a bit. Classic Sonic's presence makes little sense, as he should be from the past, not another dimension. Tails is, for some reason, closer to Classic Sonic than Modern Sonic. The teamwork speech is very cliche. Infinite lets Sonic live for plot purposes. Shadow wasn't seen by anybody for six months and there's no explanation to that. Infinite expresses distaste for Eggman as his master, but does nothing about it.

Lastly, if Eggman propels a fake sun against the Earth, then he dies too. Unless he is immune to the Phantom Ruby's effect, but why would he be? He is clearly seeing the sun like everyone else, which means he is having the same "nightmare", as Tails describes it. Infinite could also be planning to kill Eggman along with the Resistance and he just didn't realize that. But then again, we'll never know since Infinite didn't have a proper ending to his story.

All this build up to Infinite, all this hype about his character

What a wasted opportunity by a mile

A new character, a seemingly interesting one at that, after you take him out the final time, that's it, he's just gone, no more of him through the rest of the game

We'll never find out why they animated him to do that and then just completely shrugged it off with no explanation

That wasn't too bad. Mania made it a good prequel, it could easily be a Chronicles sequel if you want it to, and the story wasn't as heavy- rather, it wasn't a complete retread of SatAm. Can't wait to play this.

Now let's hope the Phantom Ruby doesn't find its way in the Boom Universe.

so despite chaos being a god of destruction he basically got reduced to a basic enemy. Where as Metal Sonic, Zarvok and Shadow were all primary enemies.
Also if they were projections I wonder why they didn't use it to call upon said enemies more powerful form.
