Cat Zoomies

My 16 y.o. tabby still gets the zoomies frequently. Up the stairs, down the stairs, all over the house. Ears pinned back and eyes looking wide and wild, he can sometimes make it sound like a big man bounding through the house instead of a 12 pound cat!

Every Calico I have owned and fostered (one is sitting on my lap as I type, trying desperately to get my attention) are gymnast machines and LOVE bouncing off the wall like that. It's uncanny how similar they are.

My Turkish Van is 4 and still gets the zoomies at 10:00 pm. He runs the longest straight line in the house and skids at a 90 degree angle into the last room so he doesn’t hit the wall at the end. 😻

You should stick panels of that cord stuff they use to scratch, on the walls. Give them some grip and ability to climb around the wall

Our three year-old Creamsicle (yes, orange tabby) get his zoomies right before Mommy & Daddy go to bed. May I make a suggestion on a good "zoomies killer"? LASER POINTER!!!! Our kitty LOVES "The Red Dot Game" he gets to play with Daddy, and that game kills the zoomies every single time!!!
