My cat has a full wall made into a climbing wall, plus a bed over the lounge door.... Yet he still likes to zoom around and climb on top of kitchen cupboards and room doors...😂😂😂... He has 3 cat trees as well as every cat toy possible.... He also has window seats and bird feeds outside these I play with him 3x daily for 15/ 20 mins at a Some cats are just naturally more active.... Genetics etc play a part....xx

Morning, zoomies occur, but they sniff the cold air and off they go, front door or door to the back enclosed porch, cool air does it, we have two sets of stairs they run on, sounds like a herd of elephants when they ( 2 cats) run upstairs 4 bdrooms and they have access to all rooms. ( it's their house, we're just servants)

My cat is 16 and still gets the zoomies. I attribute it to him watching the birds and squirrels outside and building up aggression wanting to go out and 'get them'. Somethimes I think he's just bored and has excess energy so I chase him around the house and he loves it. He's bored with all his toys and he as ALL of the ones listed in the video = plus he has 5 - YES 5 - cat trees and a 4 ft. scratching post. I live on a farm, my cat 'Bella', a female tabby, runt of the litter but has balls of steel! She gets the Zoomies just before she wants to have a crap. Tears off like a lunatic, returns a minute later to dig a hole and continue on her mission 🤣
