Secret PS5 Feature still a Mystery

Two years after references to PS Stars Level 5 were discovered by dataminers, players are still figuring out how to unlock the elusive level. We first reported on a hidden fifth tier back in October 2022 after assets for the level were found in PSN’s backend along with a brief description, but no one has managed to reach the level thus far.

“In an endless sea of stars, it seems like there’s nowhere to hide. But you wouldn’t be here if you let challenges like that stop you. Welcome to Level 5,” reads the leaked official description.

So, why hasn’t anyone been able to unlock PS Stars Level 5 yet? For starters, it may actually be an invite-only tier. The dataminer who originally leaked the aforementioned assets and description also discovered strings that suggested that Sony will “invite” players to Level 5. This presumably means that players who meet some unknown criteria then have to go through some kind of a selection process to join the Diamond tier.

Stop trying to play games as fast as possible and beat them in 1 day and might have some games to play lol. Never understood the need to finish as fast as possible. Just waited forever for the game and paid a ton of money and you want to go so fast through it you don’t even see everything going on in the game

What Sony need to do is sell a special Sony manufactured external disc drive that plugs into the PS5 that can play all the PS1, 2 & 3 game discs. That would get lots of sales for them.
It might also make PS4 owners upgrade to the PS5. Or they can also try please everyone and make it work on the PS4 & PS5 consoles... Big money making opportunity!

I've finished level 4 on stars and it's has a date under it that reads "until 1/2026" 🤷

Head of line privileges for PS support? That is literally the saddest thing I've ever heard. They're stuff has been so garbage lately that you need to earn head of line privilege to get it taken care of? The fact that you spend money on their garbage isn't enough? Thank God I switched to pc.

Having lvl 4 ps stars isn't hard to get. so they should make a better tier. That is harder to get

I'm glad they brought back PlayStation Stars but I think it would be a good idea if knew what points we get for the purchases we brought with our money and display it on all the items in the store so we knowwhatwe are getting instead of not knowing. Transparency maybe?
