Andor The Eye Tie Fighter Chase [4K HDR] - Star Wars: Andor

An edited 4KHDR sample of all the FX shots from the beautiful "Eye" ceremony on the planet Aldhani, from The Eye Tie Fighter chase scene, as seen in the Star Wars: Andor 6th Episode "The Eye".

12 episodes from season 1, recut into 2 Extended 4 Hour Film Cuts for the entire season. After many requests, I have decided to proceed with this project. The edits won't be particularly elaborate, but based on the story structure of the season, 2 continuous seamless cuts with Episodes 1-6, and 7-12 respectively should tell this tale rather nicely.

The Cuts are live and ready to go! Use the following Google Doc to see any of my supercuts for yourself, then follow the instructions there.

Finally, while you're here, also feel free to check out some of my other Supercut projects, including the Episode III 4.5 hour Supercut which features Genevieve O'reilly's deleted scenes (she was handpicked by Lucas for the role back in 2003!), Siege of Mandalore, Extended remastered CW Battle or Coruscant, and more:

The cinematography of Rogue One and Andor is somthing we really need more of. Brutal. Militaristic. Cold. Industrial. Dark. Those things perfectly represent what the galaxy should feel like under the Galactic Empire.

This episode would look absolutely gorgeous in theaters

Andor is by far the best Star Wars show yet. It is Sci fi for adults with engaging plots, great acting and so much more serious than the others.

I liked Kenobi but this scene really shows the difference in the two shows, Andor uses its budget masterfully and the writers care about almost every detail.

This is probably the most exciting Star Wars scene in years.

Totally worth the wait. What a spectacle.

The characters, from rebels to imperials, hyped the spectacle of The Eye for 3 episodes and when it appeared it was even more beautiful than I thought

This was one of the most cinematic scenes in all of Star Wars

Everything about this was just outstanding. The acting, the direction, the visuals, the sound and the music. It all came together in this incredible sequence at the end of the episode, this operatic, explosive release after all that patiently built up tension. Brilliant.

Andor and Rogue One, the two gems of star wars that appeared out of the blue and instantly earned their spot in every fans heart.

Hell yeah! I did a lot of vfx work on this sequence and I'm so happy about how well it came together and how much love Andor gets in general! Probably the work I'm most proud of yet. The Team was awesome!!

*I didn’t think CGI could still be breathtaking* beyond thinking “Damn that’s good CGI” but this show is killing it.. beyond the serious, dark tone it’s still retained the sense of “Wonder” of seeing other planets.. too bad — Kenobi and Boba killed the hype of so many.

It’s really weird to see the empire taken seriously and not used as the butt end of a joke. Haven’t seen that since rogue one. It’s quite refreshing

The visuals were outstanding. 10/10 for that in this episode

I wonder if Andor was thinking of this when he was flying that U-Wing under the destruction of Jedha.

Andor does not deserve to be slept on. THIS is what Star Wars is all about

Seeing a more realistic, believable representation of the Empire scrambling TIEs, complete with the pilots preflighting their aircraft for take off, is more exciting to me than everything in the Disney sequel trilogy combined. Keep giving me content like this and I may actually be forced to care about Star Wars again.

0:38 getting the ship going is probably one of the most satisfying scenes ever. You literally feel the power and speed

As someone who came in really angry because of what was done to Kenobi and Boba Fett, I have never been so happy to have been wrong about a show.

I can’t tell how refreshing it to have writers that are actually smart and that care about every detail. Nothing is not important. The buildup is worth every bit of the payoff.

The wait to this episode was 100% worth it. Tony and his team are KILLING it.
