Denying claims is wrong. These insurance companies should be getting sued

This is major reason my dad retired from oncology. He got tired of the shouting matches between him and his patients insurance companies when they tried to deny treatments. They needed. He loved his job and his patients but, He got sick of the bureaucracy. .

Insurance companies shouldnt be able to deny treatments that are medically necessary, and if they do, they NEED to be sued. Its called accountability.

I’m crying for these PEOPLE who already are fighting their hardest battles. Why should they also have to fight with insurance COMPANIES over the value of their lives??

All insurance companies collect outrageous monthly premiums, then leave you to dry (and some cases die).

How can a company deny coverage when you're paying for it? Insurance companies make billions of dollars a year. Something has to change; it's not fair to consumers. Why are we paying for something we might not be able to use when we need it? This is just sad

At what point is America going to learn. Get healthcare out of the hands of business, especially when it’s about profit not healthcare.

This is exactly why Luigi is seen as a hero by many people.

I was diagnosed stage 4 in July and have had similar problems with insurance. My heart goes out to everyone and their families dealing with this nightmare!

Same happened to my mom, who was denied by United for pancreatic cancer PET scan, despite of 3 doctor appeals. Thanks to Luigi for being our voice. Otherwise, nothing will change. Way too many people are silently killed by corporate greed every day.

My insurance company told my husband to drop me off his policy after my cancer diagnosis and that I should then reapply for Medicaid?!?! Now they are trying to “help” me find a better insurance policy after paying premiums for years. I couldn’t be more disgusted
