When Medieval Europeans Put Animals on Trial

One of the strangest images to come out of medieval Europe is animals getting put on trial. In a time when pigs roamed the streets and might gnaw off a person's ear, the authorities put them on trial and sent them to the gallows. This bizarre practice outlived the Middle Ages, with the most infamous trial taking place during the Enlightenment Era!

This is pure comedy I would hold animal trials but no execution just to make a comical spectacle very funny
