1) Brake properly and make sure to slow down the car
2) Hit the apex don't go agressive with the car too much
3) Align car for the exit and be careful with the throttle

Just recently I bought my very first wheel (G29) and got this game. I am still learning and feeling the transition from many years using a controller in games such as F1 and Gran Turismo to the wheel and Assetto Corsa is proving a real challenge. I should have around 18hs in the game, just worked out to get all the track medals, now I am building up my SA rank.
One thing that I learned the worst way is that you should really not try to be fast in the beginning. As Jardier said, the game will punish you and you will just get frustrated. Now I changed my focus to actually control the car and it is really nice to see that the more you get to know the car you chose, the more you learn how to handle it, the more your lap times get better, if though you're not specifically focusing on getting faster laps.
So, if you're a beginner like me, try to do that. Don't get frustrated with being "slow". Slow and steady is faster than someone who is fast in 1 lap but keeps getting out of the track at the 9 others.

Coming from GT Sport (years of all Gran Turismo) I’ve moved to ACC and OH MY GOODNESS. This is hard work. SO satisfying when you get the corner just right though

The first 2.5 mins nailed it. ACC punishes you for any mistake on corner entry, car feels like a boat if you dont get it right!

Oh my god thank you for this video. I was starting to question just how badly I sucked cause the jump from GT SPORT to this was quite jarring. This game just chews you up and spits you out!

Finally picked this up, a month in, hated it at first, this game definetly improves your driving skills, it will punish you for bad techniques. Will make you way faster in corners. Agreed, great vid

Fantastic video. Good video for acc beginners. Car sounds great and can't wait for the mercedes. The rumble and grunt of the mercedes is incredible.

This game really has great potential! Normally I do not use any assistance in the other simulators but in ACC the ABS/TC are very useful tools. The physics and how to control weight transfer of the car it is great in this game!!! xD

little tip.. put your heels closer to the pedals.. you will understand why. (the angular muscle memory..and wide-range control)

Just getting into ACC coming from GT Sport and loving it. Definitely hard to nail a full lap and totally agree TC is a must (well for me at least)
