Still I hope they do the important stuff before release:
1 - New multiplayer on Client-Server architecture.
2 - Dedicated servers
3 - Server dll is only available to the dedicate server
4 - More documentation and examples (feel free to reach out to the community)
5 - Render optimization (this is a very important issue right now, when PSX game on 1650 runs at 20 fps)
6 - Automate upload processes to the cloud
7 - Simply, a guarantee that shaders, materials, sounds and models won't break.

And then everything will go. A bunch of content, a bunch of games.

All I'm thinking about s&box at the moment is that if it doesn't launch with sandbox I'm going to stay with gmod until it does

At this point I think they're just trying things out with S&Box... especially since they're also working hard on games like Rust... I don't know if it's just me or I'm exaggerating... but clearly, they're just doing demos and alphas/ betas with S&Box on purpose because they are not so focused on S&Box right now... or they are only dealing with the base of the game and that is why they take so long to do everything they do... it almost seems like they are just piloting without knowing very well what they want to do or where they have to go. I repeat, this is just me... but everything points to that. But if they're really working hard to put out a good, polished game and then let the community do whatever they want with it, then I'll keep waiting.
