As a Catholic school child we knew what we read in our comics really didn't exist.
Same thing for prayers and masses and church.
But we couldn't figure out why adults apparently (?) believed this stuff.
Through 8 long years, I saw zero evidence of an interactive communicative caring God. Nuthin'.
My classmates and I went through the motions, mostly out of the threat and fear aspect of Catholic religion and the bullying by nuns.

Did Jesus pee and poop after the resurrection?

Hopefully one day, humans will actually understand this is all fantasy and folklore

Fun fact there are 15 world religions with the same story lines

I have wondered about this too. The resurrection account of Jesus floating up in the sky is also problematic. Paul’s glorified body claim is more plausible in my view

Jesus resurrected on the other side of death in a form that we can't grasp. H ewas not the first nor the last. Paul was half right.

My problem withthis "perfect body" is that... Isaiah 53:2
For he grew up before him like a young plant,
and like a root out of dry ground;
he had no form or majesty that we should look at him,
and no beauty that we should desire him.

God and His angels ate bread cakes made by Abraham's wife Sarah in Genesis. They had mouths that could eat and feet that could be washed. Human like bodies. They rested in the shadows of the oaks of memre. God and His angels have perfect bodies, but could still eat within the stories of the Old Teatament/Tanakh.

Lets talk about the same book over and over, maybe we can learn from people that were substantially dumber than us that lived 2000 years ago.

Not to mention, we definitely LEARN from religion since it's not a manipulative tool to control society. Everything is 100% factual and not just a story meant to teach a lesson.

Resurrection - Christ rises up from the Abyss with all of Hades at his heel.

Jacob was grabbing the heel of Esau. Jacob could wrestle an angel until daybreak.

Christ has some serious muscle at his heel and the kingdom will be given to a people that will produce its fruit.

Eat your good and evil fruit.

Jesus clearly did not die on the cross, but recovered, which was remarkable but not miraculous. His followers did witness him afterwards eating & drinking. Paul never knew Jesus alive but believed in the Resurrection in a modified body. Jesus had actually died some time after, but that could not be spoken of since his resurrection had become a widespread belief.

What is your point Bart? It’s common sense, different accounts focus on different aspects.
