How to program the Frequency to channel on Baofeng radio

It’s better if you program with the computer so you can have text I’d and turn off transmit

Im so new to this. I got mine last week do we have to type the exact numbers your typing in to program it? Or what ever radio we want to program?

I have three of these radios, and due to the small print, and the way that the instructions are laid out, I haven't been able to program any one of them.

What does changing the channel to 15 do? I’m totally new to this. lol I did exactly as you did to both of mine. I got these for me and my wife/kids for a shtf situation so we can maybe also talk to others near by. Can you scan for nearby signals?
