Could you still use the spinning drive as a secondary inside the case? Is there room?

My father has the same PC.. do you know if there is another SATA3 cable to connect the old hard disk? The idea is to migrate all the spinning drive files/os to the new SSD (still need to buy it) and use the spinning drive as secondary storage for bigger stuff.
