The hp pavilion th-01 is a small form factor gaming pc , powerful 1080p gaming with limited potentiality for upgrade. it comes with 512 gb fast pci ssd but lacks additional storage drive. Here I tried to demonstrate how to put two additional storage units without any modifications or ruining your warranty . Also the system came with single channel 16gb ram which is quite a limitation for overall performance, so I put another 16gb for dual channel setup.
parts added : 1 TB wd blue ssd, Seagate barracuda 2TB 7200 rpm hdd.
ram : silicone power ( samsung chip ) 16 gb 1.2v ddr4 3200 mhz.
cost : wd 1tb ssd cost around 70 usd and 2 tb Seagate barracuda costs 49 usd.
ram would cost : 35 to 45$

You might be able to upgrade your psu if you can find an adapter cable that can connect to your motherboard. It is also possible to make an adapter cable if you get a copy of the pin out from the motherboard specs pdf.
If you can get a better psu to fit in the case, then you can upgrade your graphics. A little imagination, determination and research you can customize your pc quite a lot. Sleeper pc build. Good luck kid!

There's an HP 700 watt psu that I'm upgrading my tp-01 to from the original 180 watt. Huge difference.🤣

Oh good, only one of your antenna are connected to your wifi m.2 too. I thought I broke my pc, but the wifi wire is covered so I don’t see how it could have been connected so I couldn’t have broken it.

Have the same computer Picked up mine 2 years ago ( Ryzen 7 3700X 8core) with Radeon 550 2gb for $500. I just upgraded to the same card but with 4 Vram. My power supply is only 310 watt. Wanted to upgrade PSU, but being only 4 pin vs ATX 24 pin with limited options. It also only came with a dvd player and a 256 ssd. I put in 16 ram vs the 8 it came with. I only now want to upgrade my ssd to 500gb or 1tb. It would be nice if I could just pluck out the old ssd and put another one in without going the cloning route.

im planning to upgrade the ram with 2x16 3200 ddr4, it consumes 1.35v with the xmp profile enabled, hp doesn't have this option in their bios so, without the xmp it consumes 1.2v so its right to use?
