I can't tell you how much I enjoy your contributions to the study of Sea-Monkeys. The idea that they hatched instantly on contact with purified water fascinated me with my first kits (when I was in the 6th grade in the 1970's). So much so, that I set up a microscope, put some of treated water on a slide, & added what I assumed were eggs - with zero results. I honestly thought I'd see some creature break out of its shell like a chicken being born, so this was very disappointing. Of course, it doesn't work that way. Also, my microscope came from a kid's hobby kit, & I doubt I even selected the brown cysts/eggs in the first place. So getting to see professional grade examinations through your mega-microscope now, matched with your intelligent insight into how things actually work, makes Picocosmos the channel I could only have imagined so many years ago. I hope to see many more videos from you!

I live near the Great Salt Lake, where Sea Monkeys are harvested. I wonder if they gather the salt for the purifier from the lake as well?

How long does it take for sea monkeys to be adults

It's a little ironic from all my tests with generic artemia eggs the one in tap water are the triving group. Distilled and spring water not much success. Maybe 5 adults while the tap water group now has 8 and are daily mating.
