Unboxing the Sonos Arc SL & Sonos Ones SL to create a surround system. Although I'm lacking the subwoofer, I want to see what all the hype is about. This high price tag better be justified.

Your reaction to hearing the standalone Arc (even without the sub) on the movie and then music was priceless. Despite that, you still felt it wasn't worth the price? Bruh, get the sub and your life will be changed forever.

I think personally having tried both if you like bass the best of the best is bose 900+ bose bass module 700 alot better bass than sonos...

Great video, thanks! I have an Arc on order and have already bought the sub. Once I have the rest of the money, I plan to buy two Fives as surround. And after that…one more sub. I have a huge “L” shaped living are with the tv in the corner of the L and I think it will sound amazing. Thanks for your review!

I own the Sonos on theater set up, which is a Sonos arc and a Sonos third gym sub, and a pair of Sonos five for surround sound ! And it’s all hooked up to my brand you, Sony XR Bravia, a 90 J what are the flagship TVs? I love it.!

I'm really enjoying the Sun and Arc combination - esp after I did the settings.

Sub is by bass/loudness is by default 0. You do need to tinker around with the Sub settings but create a smooth bass rather than a loud boom bass - which unfortunately a lot of people think is what bass is for.

I have sonos in almost every room. I've built it over time. I love it. I'm not sure its worth it for one room but when its spread out over multiple rooms its pretty nice.

Price wise, there are several brands who have a higher price point. Depends on budget and preference. The build quality and time that Sonos puts into their products is worth it. Of course there are budget friendly products out there. There’s always trade offs. Great review brotha! Especially when you heard the sound for the first time. That’s how I felt when I heard my Sonos fives

I started out with a Nakamichi 7.2.4 and I just couldn't get the sound the way I liked it and I didn't like how the rear surrounds were wired to the wireless subs (limited placement options). Ended up replacing the Nakamichi with Sonos (Arc, dual subs, Fives) and it was a huge upgrade in the right direction. I can now place the speaker in optimal positions, easy tuning with Trueplay, fuller immusive range between the low bass rumble to highs, and I don't have adjust the sound settings depending on audio content of stereo, 5.1 or Atmos like I had to do with the Nakamichi. Purchased everything before I knew about the Era 300 release dates.

I got a one gen 2 at a pharmacy for $110.
It’s an excellent speaker.
Separates instruments I could go on but if there’s anything better I don’t need it.

You might as well have got the sub

I have owned the Sono ARC, sub and ones for over a year now.. ive never been wowed by the setup, ive always thought it sounds ok, It doesnt have that wrap around sound ive heard from sony and samsungs latest soundbars.. The sub is great and really does have a punch to it.. Im hoping they release some upfiring rear speakers also.... its not worth the money its costs, I got 30% off when I purchased due to trade in etc... I do also wish sonos would let you control the centre channel, as I do find speech can get lost even when truplayed and speech enhancement on.

So I bought bose 900 and returned it and got Sonos. I did like the sound better from Bose than Arc but bose had too many issues - it was causing wifi issues for apple tv which was near it and also at one point just stopped connecting to the app. Sonos is not bad imo but bose sounded better to me. Comparing only soundbars btw.
