The EMF from power lines will vary depending upon the time of day and season. Hot days when AC is running, and around dinner time when everyone is using their stoves to cook etc., the EMFs will go up substantially. The magnetic fields are linked to certain cancers. It's not worth the risk, in my opinion.

In my personal experience the power lines and cell phone towers disrupt my sleep. And poor sleep can lead to health problems. But likely some people are not effected as much as me. Avoid if possible, but do not freak out if you are in this situation. Also FYI the numbers are much higher in the summer when electricity usage is max.

Even when(faraday cage) shielding your entire home, the entire cage will be getting charged/discharged at the 50/60Hz inductance.

I used an electric blanket and started getting nightmares that wouldn’t stop until I got rid of the blanket .later l moved into a top floor apartment in a highrise building and there was the motor for the elevator and other electrical equipment above my ceiling. I soon developed major sleep disturbances & nightmares. I then moved into another property with no electrical equipment or base station and l slept just fine, but then l moved again to downtown across from 3 different mobile phone base stations on top of 3 highrise buildings and again I got sleep disturbances and nightmares. I now live in a property with no nearby mobile base stations or power distribution and l sleep like a baby! 😊
