We need plainclothes officers back on the streets and subways. Maybe even having the feds come in to assist for a few months.

Excuse me, Bianca. But men are not responsible for a woman’s safety.

We are not your slaves.

a lot of times "getting involved" means, calling the police. I am sure everyone wants the best for one another, I say step up the police within the transit system LITERALLY double or triple your staff.

Why get involved the arrest report will have all your info that the suspect get involved when the attitude, laws and prosecutors favor reduced sentencing. Why get involved when the bail schedule will let this type of crime to get a ticket and released at the scene.... Why get involved when if the officer does decide to take them to be booked they'll be out in 2 Why getting involved when all you hear from some people is that toxic masculinity is ruining And why get involved when media reports won't bring up/ don't bring up all the above when they decide to talk about crimes like if you're gonna have blinders on just like this media clip why getting This attack was not an anomaly but it's happening more and Why getting involved when you're only gonna be falsely called a racist If you take action and your whitet and the perpetrators in this are of a minority group...

Jerry you're 48, how do you remember the 70's in New York. You were a child back then. I think he meant the 80's with the crack epidemic and recession.

The women hit the nail on the head about most bystanders not getting involved. Most of these criminals have a weapon and you can easily become a victim also people just record the crime so the police have a video of the suspects and act.

Jerry O'Connell.

Born in 1974, grew up in Manhattan going to the Professional Children's School, getting cast in lucrative national television commercials as a child, then landing a role in Stand By Me; then on to New York University where he studied screenwriting and was captain of the fencing team. And married to former Victoria Secret fashion model and actress Rebecca Romijn with whom he has two daughters? Now, this is a guy who has clearly struggled, for sure. What's next: Are you gonna tell us that you "grew up on the mean streets of New York CIty, " Jerr?

Uh-huh.

And we appreciate the insightful remarks: "Subway crime...? Uhhhh...yeah...it can be...uhhhh...scary." Thanks, Jerry. And how about this nugget of wisdom: "I'm a lot older than you whippersnappers..."

Well, that's true, Jerry...or, at least, there's the fact that at age 48, you look like you're at least 58 years old...!

Jerry continues: "And I'm old enough to remember the 1970s. And it was...ummm...a crazy time. And like that again. It....really does..."

You were 0 to 5 years old in the '70s, Jerry, and then that decade ended. So, what exactly are you talking about? Were you riding the subways by yourself as a toddler, smoking a blunt, and dodging the bullets in midtown?

Really?

Meanwhile, here's the footage of the Green Goblin Gang in the Times Square subway station on Sunday. Take a look:

Bottom line: Why is Jerry O'Connell on this program? It can't be the brilliance of his commentary. Must have been a real slow news day at Fox 5 and Good Day New York.

Damn.
